I am a brand new National Guard wife. I was married on January 27, 2007 and said good bye to my husband less than three months later. He is in the Minnesota National Guard and we decided to marry after learning he was being deployed. He will first train for four to six months, followed by a year flying in helicopters around Iraq. I am not sure that I am ready for this challenge, but regardless, this should be an interesting two years.
